Mike Folie

Prior to becoming a business communications consultant, Mike was a professional actor and an award-winning playwright. Mike’s plays have been presented around the U.S. and internationally, featuring well-known actors such as Stefanie Powers, James Earl Jones, Tim Allen, Maxwell Caulfield, Kate Burton, and Jane Krakowski.

Mike is married to Frances Mayer, a high school English teacher. They have two children, Brendan and Lizzie, and live in Rockland County, New York.

Mike graduated from Livingston College, Rutgers University with a B.A. in English and Theatre Arts.


Angelo Parra

Angelo Parra is a veteran communications consultant and free-lance writer/editor. His experience encompasses on-staff and free-lance assignments in the healthcare, petrochemical, packaging, tobacco, and entertainment industries, and in politics. He has served as adjunct assistant professor, public relations, New York University, and as a member of the board of directors, New York Chapter, Public Relations Society of America. Angelo holds degrees in journalism, political science, and English.


Jim Ramsay

Jim Ramsay has worked in communications his entire adult life, most recently as director of editorial services for Philip Morris USA, with a focus on the company's Internet and Intranet websites. Other jobs include editor at Simon & Schuster, head speechwriter for the New York City Council President, free-lance writer, research psychologist, and assistant professor at New York University. He has a Ph.D. in psychology and has authored scientific articles, national magazine articles, and a humorous book on running.


Howard Tomb

Howard Tomb has been a professional speech writer and corporate communications advisor for more than ten years.  His clients have included candidates for national office and chief executives at Fortune 100 companies.  In addition to his speech and corporate writing, Howard is the author 11 books with more than 1.3 million copies in print.  His feature stories have appeared in The New York Times and many other publications. Howard has a BA in literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and earned his MBA at Columbia University.  He now works as a writer and editor at a leading management consulting firm, and previously served as executive vice president for corporate communications at Weber Shandwick, a global public relations firm.
